Veronica Combs

Veronica Combs is a writer, editor, project manager and moderator. She has covered business, healthcare and technology for the last 15 years, most recently as a senior writer at TechRepublic. She was the editor of MedCity News, a B2B publication about healthcare, and a vice president of content at HealthCentral, a consumer health news site. She also was the executive director of AIR Louisville, a digital health project that enrolled 1,100 people and collected 1 million data points about asthma. Before joining the digital world, Veronica spent almost 10 years in the newspaper industry. She was a freelancer for the Arizona Republic, the managing editor at The World in Coos Bay, Oregon and worked in several roles at The Courier-Journal, including copy editor, layout editor and technology trainer. In addition to writing news stories and features, she hosts panel discussions and one-on-one conversations with business leaders, tech entreprenuers, researchers and community advocates.
