Cookies

Our Cookies

Our site uses HTTP cookies to maintain sessions (handling of the pages that you must sign in to access) and tokens (a key that is used for the site to function, like pulling articles from other servers in our infrastructure). You can turn them off in your browser, but then most of our site would not work. Power Poll cookies do not track you in any way, shape, or form.

Third-Party Cookies

We use Google Analytics on parts of our site, which may include other cookies.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We collect and store your email address, name, other publicly-available information and information that you provide.

If you participate in surveys, that data is securely transmitted to us, as well. We go to tremendous lengths to anonymize the survey data. For example, you'll notice that the links from survey emails include unique random strings and do not include anything that can be linked to you.

We will never give any of your personal data to anyone for any reason.

Your Control Over Information

You can unsubscribe from Power Poll at anytime. Just click the link at the bottom of any of our emails or sign into the dashboard and edit your account. There is no "It may take a few weeks to unsubscribe you" process - the effect is immediate: you are unsubscribed and will not hear from us again.

Security

All of our data is stored in our custom-developed platform, which has been designed and built using industry best-practices for security and reliability. All browser traffic is encrypted. Our databases are encrypted as well and secured to the fullest extent possible.

Internally, we limit access to your data to the smallest group of personnel possible. Our platform engineering team consists of Power Poll employees - we do not outsource anything. Even the Correspondent(s) of your area(s) cannot access most of your information. We guard your data as if our entire company is at risk, because it is.
