Tom Lappas

Tom Lappas is the founder and owner of the Henrico Citizen in Richmond, Va. suburb of Henrico County. He covers local government, schools and general interest topics for the Citizen, which has earned 221 awards for excellence in journalism since its inception in 2001. He also has served as an adjunct professor of journalism at his alma mater, the University of Richmond.
