Screen Sharing

You can share your screen if you are a publisher or moderator of a Power Poll Summit.

Browser

We recommend using the Chrome browser for your Summit if you intend to share your screen.  Unlike some other browsers, Chrome allows you to select an indivudual window to share.  Safari, for example, only allows you to share your entire screen.

Sharing your Screen in the Summit

To start sharing your screen, click the "Share Screen" icon in the Summit Control Panel, which looks like this:

 

CRITICAL: You may be asked for permission to share (or record) your screen.  This is initaited by your operating system.  If you do not choose to allow screen sharing/recording, the Summit will not allow it either.

Resolving Issues

If you did not allow screen sharing or recording, you will need to check your settings in your browser and operating system.
